When I started my first year of undergraduate studies at UCI, I was so sure that I would take my prerequisites and become a mechanical engineer. In the end of my second year, I decided to do what I've always loved and take on a Studio Art major instead. Weird.
Although there is a negative stigma involving being jobless in the art field, I'm always determined to learn new things, especially with the rise of digital media. Handmade, physical artwork has always been my preferred form of creating graphic art, but I've grown to becoming more used to digital arts by using the Adobe Creative Suite. I hope to become more experienced with the new and technological artistic tools, yet retain my love for sketching and painting.
